Craftstone were involved at an early stage in the design process and worked closely with Groundworks throughout the contract.The contractor was Maurice Flynn.

The new seating manufactured by Craftstone is a multifunctional addition to the area.The seating acts as a retaining wall for the grass area and also provides a “canvas” for various words and phrases chosen by the community to be cast into the front surface.

In addition to the seating Craftstone manufactured bright yellow curved paving from their Crystal Products range.

Crystal products is a bespoke range of paving and walling manufactured from 85% recycled glass in practically any colour from the RAL or BS colour range.

The paving is set out in front of the seating area and again various words and phrases have been cast into the surface.

Craftstone have worked closely with Groundworks on several contracts and as always look forward to the next challenge.
